This is the theme of 2017 for the Design District I love most: the Brera Design District.
I add that to me design is fun, is creativity combined with functionality. It is also find out the result after one year from the end of the project, photograph it, get excited every time as the first and know that people living ambience you helped to build are fain.
Brera has an unequal elegance and atmosphere.
I agree with Michele De Lucchi “Brera has the charm of the artistic district of Milan and has a personality of Parisian bohemians. When you walk through its streets, especially in April during Fuorisalone, it exudes quirky atmosphere, young and international. ”
And in this district the installation by Studio Pepe, my source of inspiration for their textural and stylish furniture solutions, makes me curious.
The visit
“The visit” is the meeting between the guest and the host, a time of sharing. That’s what the project by Studio Pepe wants to relate, at the Brera Design Studio Apartment in via Palermo 1.
The project was created on apartment size, full of rooms and paths, where visitors will also be accompanied by soft white curtains used to redefine the space without touching the walls.
The furnishings chosen go from rigorous poem by Sphere, to contemporary elegance of Aytm and color harmony of Biton Home, from the softness and comfort of Shuj, to the coolness Valverde .
They then open the range of colors by Sikkens conjugated to the extreme compositional versatility surfaces of Cedit and Florim, leader in the world of ceramics, cut and designed to create domestic murals. There are also silky laminates by FENIX-NTM®.
How creative directors of Studio Pepe explain “The visit is a project that will last even after the days of the Fuorisalone and will be animated by talk, meetings, experiences. All strictly by appointment”.
I’m curious to see the live installation in a Milan apartment in the context of the beginning of ‘800’s, with large windows, stucco and herringbone parquet. The premises are excellent!
Why not visit it on Friday, April 7, during the White Night of the Brera Design District, with prolonged opening of showrooms and special events?
