Spring brings the desire for innovation and renewal, especially in the home. The Swedish brand Ikea, like every year, presents the latest news for Spring 2017. Collections and products designed for the beautiful season, with fresh and attractive colors and materials. From “limited edition” to new lines to renewed products, this is what Ikea proposes.
Limited editions: Jassa and Avsiktlig
Jassa is the new line of eco-friendly, handicraft and sustainable products that includes fabrics, decorative furnishings, flatware and home-made linens, and rattan protagonist. Geometries, colors, natural fabrics and lines recall the east, with a distinct Indonesian style. Crafts made of rattan to beautify verandas and gardens, marry ultra-colored wicker cushions and baskets. Plates, lights and cloths complete a line that is already a cult.
Avsiktlig, however, announces itself as the summer collection excellently thanks to the fabulous colors of fabrics and utensils that can be used in outdoor dining with friends and family. The collection was created by three young designers along with the 10-Gruppen team and is based on 14 extremely colorful and geometric fantasies, even different from each other, enriching bedding, bowls, plates and glasses, cushions, cloths, curtains, but also Armchairs, carpets and sofas. An eccentric and unusual taste can conquer even the most critical eye.
New Input Series: Mackapar and Pinning and Pudda baskets
Ikea Spring 2017 speaks of order and solutions to organize the spaces. There are two new collections to keep the house in order. Pinning offers shelf and horseshoes in essential and traditional style, in black tones, to make the most of entry and organize shoes and hats. The richer and more defined is the Mackapar series (exclusively in white) that proposes modules to be assembled to create spaces and organize shoes, hats and overcoats. Easy to assemble and combine in different combinations in the most classic Ikea style.
Among the novelties in the organization of the spaces are also the Pudda baskets, pure design objects made of gray felt ideal for storing objects and keeping things in order. Extremely elegant and cautiously cut, they are available in two different sizes.
Garden starred with Mastholmen
Natural fibers and craftsmanship hand made to offer the utmost comfort. These are the features that distinguish Mastholmen’s garden series, which offers public armchairs, sofas, chairs and tables and coffee tables. All seats can be completed with soft cushions and are stackable for space-saving solutions.
