In this article I want to tell you about a fantastic experience that I had the opportunity to live in preview in Milan, in the center!
I was invited to view a 3D videomapping installation: a particular artistic form that I will explain better below!
The permanent installation is accessible in Via Manzoni 23, in the heart of the Milanese fashion district and a stone’s throw from the Teatro alla Scala. A perfect location for design events, for artists who want to promote their works or for showrooms. A real gem in the heart of Milan.
Thanks to the 3D installation, called perpetual, the building is transformed into an intimate and engaging place for all passers-by.

3D Video Mapping is a projection technique that transforms any type of surface into a dynamic display, on which animations and images follow one another, for example, on the facade of a building through combinations of lights so as to bring the visitor to life. amazing illusions.
Immersive Media is the studio that took care of the realization of this artistic intervention, which enriches the internal facade of the beautiful courtyard of Manzoni 23. The studio specializes in the production of latest generation video and digital content for screens and physical environments. They design and implement the most visionary artistic projects and latest generation business solutions.

What has been achieved in the courtyard of Manzoni 23 is an explosion of images, capable of totally involving the viewer, transforming the content of the projections into a real illusion. The images flow on the facade, accompanied by music and famous quotes.
My experience at Manzoni 23
The experience was totally immersive and overwhelming!
The installation is fully automated and scheduled to run cyclically numerous times throughout the day, from Monday to Saturday and can count on a system of laser video projection of the latest generation, air-conditioned, thanks to which it is also possible to see the show in broad daylight, in any season, although obviously the best times to appreciate its suggestion are during the hours when natural light begins to diminish.
I am happy to have had the opportunity to preview the installation and above all by myself, and then tell it in the best possible way!

The courtyard is accessed via an elegant access tunnel on Via Manzoni, which takes the visitor away from city traffic, allowing him to enjoy a very intimate experience.
The courtyard is transformed into a real cinema-style fruition space, since the installation also controls the lighting system of the same courtyard, allowing the software to turn the lights off and on gently every time the show starts, so maximum enjoyment to the experience.
There is also music that accompanies the flow of images, lulling the viewer for the duration of the performance, which, believe me, is very beautiful and amazes with its illusory effects!
An artistic and engaging way to isolate yourself from the outside world, for the 13-minute duration of the cycle of images.
Optical illusions rewrite the architecture of the building. Colors and shapes alternate, in some images the books begin to fly like feathers, and the bricks fall one after the other.

I recommend you to visit it because it is really worth it!
