One of the trends that I have identified and which I have included in the Guide on Interior Trends 2019 is the return of striped and undulating surfaces!
The return to fronts and striped panels brings to mind vintage atmospheres and, in my opinion, of great class!
The striped is suitable for different styles, from the contemporary to the more classic.
We can find it in the kitchen bases, or on cabinets or bathroom furniture.
This is a fine workmanship, especially when we talk about wood: the fronts in this case must be in solid wood to allow the characteristic wavy or striped workmanship.
Below we see together some brands that have decided to propose the line in their new collections!
Dolcevita Collection by Ideagroup
The new Dolcevita collection, designed by Riccardo Gava, has been awarded the ADI Ceramics & Bathroom Design Award 2017, for the “peculiar production process that allows the integration of wood to bathroom furniture while maintaining unaltered standards of functionality and practicality extended to a variety of proposals, primarily chromatic.
Rigadin Collection by Alf Da Fre
One of the collections that struck me most.
The fronts of the new Rigadin collection by Alf Da Fre are in solid wood and show the particular wavy or striped workmanship that I think we will see in 2019!
Academy collection by Oasis
Oasis deals mainly with luxury bathroom furniture. Do not miss the striped finish presented with the Academy line in your collection.
Alton collection by Lema
The new Alton armchair by Lema designed by David Lopez Quincoces presents the striped effect from another perspective. It is characterized by its anthracite painted metal structure which defines its semi-circle shape to accommodate the dry shape of the backrest in natural leather.

What do you think of this return of the line?
In my opinion, an insert of this type in a living room or kitchen will introduce that refined and special element that characterizes the whole environment!
