There are several systems, in addition to the classic plasterboard wall, which allow you to separate the kitchen from the living room.
In two of my separate projects, a particularly refined and original solution was used, namely a large window with bronze-colored profiles. In addition to dividing in a functional way, it allows you to keep the rooms bright and pleasant to live.
The projects: general aspects, atmospheres and colors
In both environments, the minimal and modern style furnishing accessories stand out. The living areas have been appropriately set up in order to create intimate conversation areas in which to best welcome guests.
As far as the kitchens are concerned, we have tried to favor above all functionality, with sober and elegant colors.
Also of note are other elements such as mirrors, which in addition to adding a touch of character, offer depth making the room appear more spacious.
Paintings and designer suspension lamps add color and furnish with taste.
Ultimately, the atmosphere inside the houses is very relaxing. In these environments, where nothing has been left to chance, you can relax after a long day of work, organize a dinner with friends or spend time with your family.
The choice of colors also required careful study, in order to make the apartments more sophisticated. The dominant colors are white for the furnishings and light dove gray for the finishes and other accessories. Some elements create a pleasant note of contrast, such as the black or blue chairs coordinated with the table or the parquet laid in a herringbone pattern.
The winning stylistic choice
The focus of the projects is certainly the glass with bronze-colored profiles, with a great aesthetic impact and which serves to divide the living room from the kitchen, without creating a clean and invasive cut.
This original dividing wall is ideal to be installed in many open spaces where, as in this case, you want to keep the rooms bright and visible.
It is therefore a choice that did not involve invasive masonry works, gives style and elegance to the whole and fits perfectly with the present furnishings.
The windows available today integrate various opacities and different opening systems. Specifically, full-height transparent glass was installed to ensure visual continuity between areas intended for different functions, but still enclosed within a single space.
Both apartments thus benefit from the installation of the glass, which makes the visual perception quite scenographic but not only. The sensation that is felt is that of a greater space, or of a deeper view.
In addition, the bronze-colored luminous profiles blend perfectly with the rest of the finishes. They represent a further strength in line with the latest furnishing trends.
